North American context
The original One X in North America used a dual-core Snapdragon S4 so it could support LTE. Many people feel more cores sound better, so the Tegra 3 LTE option was a welcome change for some buyers, though the S4 was no slouch.
Availability
Europe and North Asia from October, South Asia from November, with a separate North American announcement. HTC also said Jelly Bean with Sense 4+ was scheduled for the One S and One X from October.
