Galaxy S6 Active May Sport A Larger Display

Samsung has already brought two Galaxy S6 variants to market, the S6 and S6 Edge, but we all know they won’t stop there.  If history has taught us anything, Samsung is already working on a S6 Mini and S6 Active at least.  Speaking of the S6 Active, some rather interesting details regarding Samsung’s rugged variant have surfaced today.

Normally the majority of the specifications, including screen size, are identical when comparing the original S_ to its Active sibling but according to some leaked info from Indian import export site Zauba, the S6 Active will sport a larger 5.5″ display.  In addition to the screen size, a User Agent Profile for a device with the model SM-G890A (which is believed to be the S6 Active for AT&T), has also made it known that the device will sport a high resolution QHD display.

Other specs are expected to be the same, or close to the same, as the original which could make the S6 Active one of the most attractive phablets on the market when it releases.
