According to a tip over on MobileSyrup, Bell will be bringing the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini to market with a $499.95 price tag. The device will be available in black and will be “a perfect mixture of compact and powerful, giving customers a smaller form with amazing functionality at an affordable price.” Here are the specs:
- 4.3″ 960×540 Super AMOLED Display
- 1.7GHz Dual-Core Processor
- 1.5GB RAM
- 8GB Internal Storage
- 8MP Camera
- 1.9MP Front Facing Camera
- Android 4.2.2
Now I don’t know about you, but I don’t know if that’s necessarily the “perfect mixture” of size, performance and price. Personally, I’d go with a Nexus 4 over this any day but Samsung does have a great track record that the average consumer will recognize.
If you are interested in the device, it’s expected to make its way to multiple carriers at launch and I would imagine the price would be similar to Bell’s. However, we don’t have any confirmation on pricing from other carriers just yet so we can’t confirm anything. We’re also waiting to see what the contract price will be but I would wager it’ll be a $0 phone on a 2-year term.
Anybody interested?
