The Galaxy Note phones are definitely some of my all time favourite phones (and I’ve used my fair share of phones!). The screen size was game changing, battery life was exceptional, and I actually found the S-Pen to be rather useful! Well apparently a lot of other people feel the same way as Samsung announced that Galaxy Note sales have reached nearly 40 million world wide.
To break it down a little further, the original Galaxy Note has sold about 10 million devices while the Galaxy Note II has sold about 30 million. It’ll be interesting to see if the Note III will be able to match this incredible growth from year to year. My guess is that the growth from the Note II to Note III will be pretty minimal as, for the first time, Samsung has some solid competition in the phablet market.
I’m still trying to decide which phablet will make its home in my pocket this year.
