I’ve got some good news for those of you looking to get your hands on that curvy new Galaxy Note Edge. Paul Brannen, who is Samsung Canada’s VP of Mobile, has confirmed with the Canadian Press that the device will hit Canadian shores eventually. According to Brennan, the device will launch a little later than the US “in order to incorporate LTE carrier aggregation technology” or in simple terms, they just need to tweak it a bit.
Of course, the big draw of the Note Edge over the Note 4, or any other phablet for that matter, is the unique Edge display. I’m still not sure how practical it’s going to be in real life but it’s a neat idea nonetheless and it’s always fun to see manufacturers try out new form factors.
Although Samsung has confirmed that the device is coming, we still don’t have a firm time frame so we’ll keep an eye out for that and pass on the news once we hear something.
