So news came out a few days ago that Android would soon be supporting multiple users. Well it seems like soon has become now, thanks to some XDA developers. Check out the link below for instructions.
I haven’t personally had a chance to test this out yet but once I do I’ll let you all know how it is on the Galaxy Nexus and on the Nexus 7 (although this one will be a little while as I left it at home and I’m on a trip).
Personally, I really like the idea of having multiple user accounts. Not necessarily very beneficial on phones (maybe it would be for parents who give their phones to their kids to play), but it’ll definitely be handy on tablets. The only possible problem I see arising is lack of storage. Perhaps it simply means that we’ll start seeing tablets and phones with 64GB-128GB of storage? We can dream.
