CyanogenMod-Based ROMs for the Galaxy S II LTE

A phone with few developers

The author, who owned the phone, noted that it did not even have its own ClockworkMod recovery. Owners had to use one made for the T-Mobile Galaxy S II. Even so, some impressive ROMs had begun to show up.

The ROMs mentioned

One developer combined a CyanogenMod ROM with a CM7 build that had been ported from the T-Mobile Galaxy S II to the Skyrocket.
That port had earned plenty of attention and looked promising. Then its developer dropped out of sight, and the author said the community had lost a very good developer. Rumours about why were speculation, and nothing is confirmed here.
The new release, called CyanogenMod TouchWizzery with an Ice Cream Sandwich twist, was in early stages and showed a lot of promise.

Requirements and cautions

A rooted phone was necessary. The ROM was early and had many reported problems, so anyone trying it did so knowing the risk of a broken or unstable phone. This page gives no download links. These ROMs are long obsolete.
