Last year Google launched a pretty epic April fools…adventure with their Pokemon challenge. While there aren’t any Pokemon running wild around the world this year, Pac-Man has taken over Google Maps! That’s right, Google has turned every street into a playable Pac-Man grid.
Playing the game is quite simple. If you launch Google maps in your browser you’ll see a Pac-Man icon on the bottom left. Simply click on it and start playing! Playing the game through the Google Maps app is a little bit trickier as you need to find a suitable play area before Pac-Man will show himself. I found that Pac-Man liked to hide out in key landmarks so check out places like Time Square, the Taj Mahal or the Arc de Triomphe.
