SwiftKey is probably one of the most recognized keyboards on the Google Play Store. It has one of the most intricate spelling correction software available for Android. Although it doesn’t jive with every single user who tries it, its usability is undeniable.
One of the more common complaints I’ve always heard from SwiftKeys is the lack of custom theme support and ugly preinstalled themes. As you can tell from the picture above, they’ve incorporated the long awaited and promised ICS theme. The change log on Beta 3 is as follows:
- Refined the Smart Punctuation pop-up.
- Reintroduced the Long-press duration setting.
- Improved Smart Space functionality.
- Further reduced lag on some devices.
- Fixed a number of bugs, including the missing decimal point in the numpad and the “What’s New” dialog popping up all the time.
They’ve done quite a bit of work to this and for the little time I’ve used it, I have to say it’s greatly improved from the current outdated version found on the Google Play Store.
Unfortunately SwiftKey is a paid app, and this Beta requires you to be a SwiftKey VIP Member, luckily it’s free to sign up. SwiftKey VIP member login.
That being said I cannot post a download link for you, but you can either go through the SwiftKey VIP member area, or ask Google for your unofficial APK
