Mobile Odin has become my best friend over the past couple weeks, just another amazing application brought to you by the talented dev Chainfire.
What makes me love Mobile Odin so much is the fact that I don’t need to be a slave to my computer anymore to flash the official firmwares. This is extremely important to me as a Mac user. We Mac users either don’t have access to windows, or just hate wasting the time booting in to windows on our Macs.
Another notable feature of Mobile Odin is the ability to “Inject Superuser” and “Ever Root”.
What does that all mean? I’ll tell you.
Lets say you have a Galaxy Note or Galaxy S II, and you have been flashing roms like a madman. You now have that pesky yellow triangle and your OS is starting to have issues from either a bad mod or simply too many. You can use Mobile Odin to flash an official Samsung firmware and “Inject Superuser” and “Ever Root”, meaning your Stock OS will flashed and rooted from the start. Because you flashed an official Samsung firmware, that annoying yellow triangle will be removed as you have now flashed an official binary.
If you are always reaching for more like myself, always grabbing the latest OS releases from http://www.samfirmware.com Mobile Odin will flash them for you, and try to keep your current root while installing the official releases, all without touching your computer.
You can grab your copy of Mobile Odin here.
