Remember that leak a while back for the G+ 2.0? Well, Google must have figured it’d been seen already and plopped down a G+ 2.1. This on a day of updates [my favourite – Google Reader’s web app just updated for me].
Not much different from the 2.0 release we say previously. For Gingerbread and lower devices the widget has been removed. The widget on Honeycomb is resizable, and you get to select which circles you want displayed. Also you get a widget for the photos.
Look at the photos; I’m posting both from my Galaxy S and my Transformer.
So, what do we notice?
- No more ‘pull up’ tray for notifications.
- Weird colour scheme still.
- New posting UI [with that arrow instead of a ‘send/post’ like in Gmail
- Photos of all your “Photos” albums as well
- Find people feature in circles
- It ‘says’ ability to write to contact data is new… And it is easier to move people around from circles.
- Sharing is now an arrow
Oh, and here’s my shameless plug for more space!
