I was just playing around on my phone and noticed that my Google Search had been updated. Not really hoping for anything, I decided to jump into my widgets too see if maybe, just maybe, those Google Now widgets were available. Well what do you know, there they are.
The widget’s native size is a 4X4 but I believe it’s re-sizable (I was able to re-size it fine but I’m on ADW right now and everything is re-sizable. In terms of the content, it’s currently showing my “time to home” and a bunch of sports scores since those are the things that I’m primarily checking on my cards.
Here’s the full change log from the update:
For Android 4.1+ (Jelly Bean):
– Google Now widget for home screen or lock screen
– Movie passes from Fandango
– Movies now includes ratings from Rotten Tomatoes
– Real estate listings from Zillow when in the market for a home
– Music button when a song is playing in voice mode (US only)
– Support for US college sports
If you haven’t gotten the update yet, jump into the Play Store and I’m sure it’ll be waiting for you there.
