Google Drive Now Supports Video Streaming

Google Drive

Google Drive has been, by far, one of my favourite Google products even from when it was still known as Google Docs.  I loved having the ability to have several people simultaneously edit/work on the same document.  It helped make collaborating for projects a lot easier for me when I was in school and we here at Android in Canada also use it to communicate ideas with each other.

Well Google Drive has just gotten a little bit better again with its latest update.  The newest update has added a couple of additional features, the best one probably being the ability to stream video from your Google Drive account.  This feature is only available for devices running Honeycomb and higher.  The other new feature that has been included is the ability to pinch-to-zoom in the presentation viewer.

If you haven’t gotten the update yet, or even crazier, haven’t downloaded Google Drive, head over to the Play Store and grab it.  To me it’s definitely a must have app.
