Galaxy Nexus Roms

If you are an owner for the new Galaxy Nexus, you would probably be happy to know there are some really promising roms revealing themselves recently. Of course to even think about roms, you’ll need to have a rooted Galaxy Nexus. I posted a quick and easy root guide not to long ago, you can find that here.

I’m personally using the rom Android Revolution HD V1.3.2 by Mike1986. The rom has performed extremely well over the past couple days and I wanted to help throw the word out there.

This rom has increased my performance immensely. My battery appears to have lasted longer over the past couple days of use as well. Android Revolution HD is getting a lot of support as well, being updated every couple days. They are really smart by showing change logs, instructions, as well as optional kernels and basebands to flash with the rom. They lay everything out on the, so you know exactly what you’re downloading and installing.

I have had nothing but greatness with this rom. If you other Galaxy Nexus owners out there are in to the rooting and flashing rom scene, I suggest checking out the Android Revolution HD.

Please note there are universals versions, as well as GSM and LTE versions. Make sure you double check which version of the rom your getting before you flash it to your phone.

If Android Revolution HD isn’t your thing, you can always check back at XDA for more roms.
