Facebook Working On Native Android App

Good news for all your facebook-ers.  According to the Facebook founder himself, Mark Zuckerberg , they are working on a native Android app for the popular social networking site.

The news came during an interview at the TechCrunch conference.  Zuckerberg admits that their HTML5 strategy wasn’t the best and that a native app would indeed be a better option.  He says that they will take much of what they used in IOS as the base for their upcoming Android app.  ”Native is going to be the approach that we go with for iOS and Android.”

Although I’m not a big social network-er, I know that majority of the world is.  And the fact that one of the most popular social networking sites has taken the step in admitting its mistake and has a plan to correct it is great.

So sit tight all you avid Facebook-ers.  A new app is on it’s way!
