A while ago I had asked many of you, and through some of my own research I compiled a list of “essential apps for Canadians”. These were apps that only those of north of the 49th parallel would get, or in some cases REQUIRE to have on our device.

One thing I noticed was missing was the CBC Music App. Especially as I’m a big CBC fan, and listen to it DAILY. And throughout their broadcast day you’d often hear those ads for CBC Music
Sounded great. Then you’d hear “download the app now, on your iPad or iPod touch”… sniff. I don’t like being overlooked. I know that Canada doesn’t have as many Android users as iOS… but still, we’re a growing proportion of the mobile market. I just showed you the stats recently.
Well, they’ve gone and fixed that for us, and released the CBC Music App now for Android!
It’s a nifty little app, with plenty of options of music to listen to.
And, did I mention it’s free! [THAT’S WHY WE HAVE TO KEEP THE CBC! Don’t sell it off]
Playing the music not only gives you decent quality, but let’s you know what the track is you’re listening to.
