BBM was thee must have communication tool back in the day and when it recently made its way to Android and iOS it once again became a must have app; although I’m not sure how many people are still actually using it after that initial wave that crashed their servers. Nevertheless, it’s still a very handy messaging tool and some new features should be making their way to Android devices soon enough.
According to a report, a new beta version of BBM for Android is currently making its way out to testers. The new beta version includes two more features that are already available on BBM for BB10. These two features include BBM Voice, a VoIP service, and BBM Channesl, Blackberry’s social networking feature. While BBM Channels likely won’t intrigue that many people, BBM Voice could be another feature that gets people using the app again.
BBM video is still no where to be found in the Android app but Blackberry didn’t promise that back when they released the app so hopefully they’re working hard on bringing that to the table too.
Just out of curiosity, how many of you guys are using BBM???
